Student support
New Zealand is the only country in the world with an International Student Wellbeing Strategy, designed to protect our reputation as a safe and welcoming study destination. Here are some of the ways that Victoria University of Wellington supports international students:
International Orientation
This fun two-day session is your chance to receive an orientation pack, take a campus tour and get tips and information on all the services available in your exciting new life.
International Buddy Programme
You can join our buddy programme and meet a buddy who will
show you around and help you adjust to life as a student in Wellington. You can also take part in buddy events throughout the year, where you can have fun and meet fellow students.
